Menses Magazine is a literary arts newsmagazine prioritizing menstruators and menstrual literacy. The magazine offers informational resources for young menstruators and a platform for collectivity. We aim to contribute to the global effort to eliminate period stigma.

Meet the Editor
Brandi R. Spann is an award-winning journalist with a master’s degree in literature. Her master's thesis, Menstrual Literacy: Discredited Women's Knowledges and Methods of Recordkeeping, explored the cultural representation of menstruation in literature. Brandi founded Menses Magazine to build a space for sharing resources and ideas while she continues her research on menstrual literacy. She is an editor at an academic journal and a college composition instructor.
